Post Mildenhall Rally
My itinerary:
Saturday - 200km Audax (7.30 start - entry via Audax website or on the line)
Sunday - evening roller racing
Monday - 'Mad madison' cyclocross. Entry on the line. I'll be taking my mountain bike for this. As it's a two person event,
I NEED A WILLING PARTNER. ANY VOLUNTEERS? Let me know.

Your suggested programme still allows plenty of time to compete in the grasstrack racing Sunday and Monday afternoons. Plenty of 'hydration' should get you through Laughing

That's a no to the madison by the way. Do you think I'm mad

If I entered the grass track too, who would push you off? Nevertheless I shall take your 'hydration' advice.

I'm riding up there on the Friday with camping gear, and should arrive late afternoon some time - depending on how many pub stops we have on the way Wink

Saturday - watch the ladies racing and try not to get too 'hydrated'.

Sunday - race!

Monday - ride home again.

Looking forward to it. Very Happy

My itinerary
Friday watch most ably and hydrate whilst Graham outs tent up and offer words of encouragement
Saturday, race with the ladies, hydrate
Sunday, same as Saturday
Monday well depends on hydration levels I guess............

It's going to be fun....

Babsy we will need you on the grass in the hoop race, no messing with you and they are all bigger than me!

Good to see so many Mildenhall participants 'practicing' in the Hare last night. If you get the basics right the racing will be easy. Sadly a few of us were driving so it was only light training.

As the Captain says, all miles are training, therefore all 'hydration' must be training as well.

Good to see so many of us on a social occasion.

A few action photos that my mate took from the side of the track. I've cropped them quite heavily, so the quality isn't brilliant:

This one has been cropped to make it look like Chelmer are leading the field. Wink

I think Ann is just out of shot on this one (team pursuit?) - photographer's doing, not my cropping!

A better team pursuit shot.

And another not so good one.

The Chelmer camp, Sunday morning workshop.

Oh help Grant's bike is not in the correct type of position tipped up like that, let's hope the Captain doesn't spot it!

Good photos!

Great weekend!

Great to see the Chelmer in the press like this. Today I finally got my photo in cycling weekly! For nearly thirty years of buying the Cycling Weekly I always liked to see my name in the results but never a photo until now. Well, see page 14/15 (oct 15th '09) and you will just see me on the crease of the pages, looking on at Hog Hill with Julia and Aaron in his Chelmer kit. Laughing
